On Sunday, August 30, 2026, the College of Management, University of Phayao, hosted a hands-on workshop titled "DIY Eco-Friendly Dishwashing Liquid: A Community Approach." Held at Nopparat Pattanasart School (Soi Bang Kradi 29, Rama 2 Road, Bangkok), the initiative was organized under the Academic Services Project for Innovative Management to Enhance Community Quality of Life, led by project head Dr. Wasaporn Tanprasert.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Asst. Prof. Dr. Siriporn Praesri, Acting Deputy Dean of the College of Management, University of Phayao. The event drew strong participation from faculty members, teachers, parents, students, and local residents.
Dr. Wasaporn Tanprasert, a lecturer in the Business Administration Program, along with Ms. Kanyaphat Sriat, Head of General Administration at the College of Management, served as key speakers. Together, they led the interactive session on environmental conservation, providing participants with hands-on experience in making eco-friendly products. The workshop aimed to raise environmental awareness, reduce household chemical use, and promote sustainable resource management in daily life.
This initiative directly aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—specifically SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production and SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities—by empowering local communities with practical knowledge for environmental stewardship.
