On Wednesday, 26 August 2026, the Master of Business Administration Program, College of Management, University of Phayao, organized a study visit to SCG Ceramics Public Company Limited, located in Nong Khae District, Saraburi Province. The visit was designed to provide students with valuable hands-on learning experiences in a real-world business environment and to bridge academic knowledge with practical management applications. The study visit integrated the learning outcomes of Course 137712: Production Management and Production Control, taught by Dr. Chompunuch Jittithaworn, and Course 137713: Strategic Design and Analysis, taught by Dr. Wasaporn Tanprasert.
The opening session was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Siriporn Praesri, Acting Associate Dean of the College of Management, University of Phayao. The event was attended by university administrators, faculty members, and MBA students, who participated in lectures, discussions, and knowledge exchange based on real-world business practices and professional experiences.
The College of Management was honored to welcome Mr. Peerawut Kachinrojon, Supply Management Manager, together with a team of expert speakers, who shared valuable knowledge and professional insights into production management and control, supply chain management, as well as strategic business design and analysis. The session also provided students with an opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions, exchange perspectives, and gain firsthand insights into effective management practices in a real business environment.
The study visit reflects the College of Management’s commitment to connecting theory with practice and developing students’ competencies in analytical thinking, strategic planning, and the effective application of business knowledge. The activity also contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, by providing experiential learning opportunities; SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, through engagement with the industrial sector and exposure to contemporary production and management practices; and SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, by promoting knowledge of efficient production management, supply chain practices, and responsible resource utilization.
