On Tuesday, September 22, 2026, the Division of Building and Facilities, University of Phayao, held an activity under its Personnel Ethics and Morality Promotion Project for Fiscal Year 2026 at the Khemakhun Buddhist Park Meditation Center, Ban So, Village No. 2, Mae Ka Subdistrict, Mueang Phayao District, Phayao Province. The event was attended by Assistant Professor Suwit Panyawong, Vice President for Environment and Landscape; Mr. Nattawut Somyarone, Assistant to the President; and Mr. Jeerawat Manngan, Director of the Division of Building and Facilities, along with section heads and division personnel.
Assistant Professor Suwit Panyawong presided over the ceremony, lighting incense and candles to pay homage to the Triple Gem. Participants then chanted homage to the Triple Gem and requested the Five Precepts, which the monks administered before delivering a Dhamma sermon offering guidance on applying Buddhist principles to daily life and work. Participants also presented offerings of the four requisites to the monks as an act of merit-making.
Following the religious ceremony, the executives, section heads, and personnel of the Division of Building and Facilities took part in public service and landscape improvement work around the grounds, including trimming tree branches, cutting grass, cleaning restrooms, sweeping the temple grounds, and cleaning the pavilion, leaving the area clean, orderly, and ready for use.
Beyond promoting ethics and morality, the event gave personnel an opportunity to serve the public good, fostering civic-mindedness, responsibility, and teamwork while encouraging staff to take part in activities for the collective benefit. It reflected the application of ethical principles and public spiritedness in both work and daily life.
