The project aimed to encourage older adults to apply their knowledge and skills in daily life, support lifelong learning, and promote participation in community activities, thereby contributing to sustainable improvements in their quality of life.
Within the project, two practical training activities were featured to promote well-being and enhance older adults’ quality of life as follows: Safe Use of Technology: Conducted by Assistant Professor Dr. Natthawut Subphaso, the Associate Dean for Student Quality Development and Professional Experience. It aimed to improve participants’ understanding of appropriate, safe digital technology use, strengthen their media and information literacy, and raise awareness of how to protect themselves against online scams. These skills will help older adults use technology in their daily lives with greater confidence and safety. The Traditional Basketry and the Making of Ton Guay Salak: Conducted by the Champawai Community Housewives Group. The activity focused on passing on local knowledge and traditional wisdom by providing older adults with opportunities to learn and gain hands-on experience. Participants were encouraged to apply these skills in daily life, develop supplementary income opportunities, and help preserve and continue local cultural heritage.
