รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ธนกฤต เทียนหวาน ตำแหน่ง รองคณบดีคณะวิทยาศาสตร์ฝ่ายวิชาการและประกันคุณภาพ และผู้รับผิดชอบหลักสูตรปรัชญาดุษฎีบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ สังกัดคณะวิทยาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา ได้เดินทางไปปฏิบัติงานเพื่อติดตามความก้าวหน้าการทำวิจัย ณ ต่างประเทศ (University of Derby ประเทศอังกฤษ) ตั้งแต่วันที่ 1-10 มีนาคม 2565 พร้อมด้วย นายชนม์เจริญ ชัยรัตน์สิริพงษ์ นิสิตบัณฑิตศึกษา ระดับปริญญาเอก หลักสูตรสาขาวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ ภายใต้ทุนอุดหนุนการวิจัยโครงการปริญญาเอกกาญจนาภิเษก (คปก.) ประจำปีงบประมาณ 2564 รุ่นที่ 23 สำนักงานการวิจัยแห่งชาติ (วช.) เดินทางไปปฏิบัติงานเพื่อศึกษาวิจัยทางด้าน Convex Optimisation and applications of Mathematics to Data Science ร่วมกับ Professor Ovidiu Bagdasar ณ School of Computing and Engineering College of Science and Engineering, University of Derby, Derby, UK เป็นเวลา 3 เดือนระหว่างวันที่ 1 มีนาคม 2565 – 31 พฤษภาคม 2565
To provide some wider context of the environment that we would visit, the School of Computing and Engineering at the University of Derby brings together the disciplines Computing, Mathematics and Electrical/Electronics and Mechanical Engineering.
The School also houses the University’s Data Science Research Centre, having research collaborations with industrial partners like Toyota, JCB, Bombardier or Rolls Royce. While at Derby, you will further your research in Convex Optimisation and applications of Mathematics to Data Science, in collaboration with Professor Ovidiu Bagdasar, and academic colleagues from Mathematics, Computing and the Data Science Research Centre.
