School of Liberal Arts Hosts French for Professional Purposes Project – Activity 1
On Monday, June 23, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the French Program under the School of Liberal Arts, led by Dr. Suwanna Dolparadorn, school lecturer and project coordinator, organized the first activity of the French for Professional Purposes initiative. The session featured a lecture titled "Roles, Responsibilities, and Specialized Skills of an Air Traffic Controller" delivered by Mr. Sumet Asavavilairat, an experienced air traffic controller at the Bangkok Area Control Center.
This activity aimed to enrich the academic experience of French major students by offering insights into real-world applications of the French language in professional contexts. The session was held in Room CE 12303 for students in the French Program and was also made accessible via Zoom for interested participants from the wider community.
