On 17 November 2025, the Department of Physical Therapy, School of Allied Health Sciences, University of Phayao, held the “Academic Advisory Meeting for Students” for Semester 2/2025 at the AHS Building. The event aimed to strengthen the department’s academic support system and promote sustained engagement between advisors and advisees.
The program began with opening remarks from the Head of the Department, who provided an extensive overview of the curriculum structure, academic and graduation requirements, and essential preparation for upcoming clinical placements. This session ensured that students gained a clear understanding of their academic pathway and were equipped to plan their studies in alignment with program requirements.
Following the briefing, students joined individual advisory sessions, engaging in meaningful discussions with their academic advisors. These interactions provided opportunities to clarify academic concerns, explore personal and professional development needs, and receive tailored guidance in a supportive setting. The sessions also strengthened students’ confidence and fostered closer advisor–advisee relationships.
The initiative is an important part of the department’s academic development strategy, contributing to enhanced student readiness and supporting their progression toward professional competence and future success in the field of physical therapy.
