His Majesty the King graciously appointed Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to represent Him in presiding over the Royal Graduation Ceremony of the University of Phayao for the Academic Year 2024, held on 11 March 2026 at Phaya Ngam Muang Auditorium, University of Phayao, Phayao Province.
A total of 4,388 graduates received their degrees during the ceremony. On this auspicious occasion, two Honorary Doctoral Degrees were also conferred upon Professor Dr. Sujin Jinayon and Mr. Withee Phanichpan in recognition of their distinguished contributions to society. In addition, the University presented one Outstanding Teaching Award for 2025 and four Outstanding Researcher Awards for 2024 to honor exemplary academic achievements.
During the ceremony, Her Royal Highness delivered a royal address to the graduates, emphasizing the importance of applying the knowledge and skills gained through education for the benefit of society and the nation. The graduates were encouraged to uphold virtue, integrity, and lifelong self-development in order to contribute to sustainable progress for themselves and the broader community.
