From 10–11 August 2026, three new staff members from the School of Business and Communication Arts, University of Phayao Ms. Kannika Pianakorn, Lecturer in the Bachelor of Business Administration Programme in Business Management; Mr. Chaiyathad Phutthadet, Teaching Assistant in the Bachelor of Business Administration Programme in Finance and Investment; and Mr. Chainarong Kaewmuangmoon, Teaching Assistant in the Bachelor of Business Administration Programme in Finance and Investment-participated in the 2026 New Staff Orientation Programme, organised by the Division of Human Resources, University of Phayao, at Kantary Hills Hotel, Chiang Mai.
The programme was organised to provide new staff members with a comprehensive understanding of the University’s context, policies, and administrative direction, as well as information on welfare, benefits, career advancement opportunities, rules, regulations, and relevant institutional requirements governing their work.
The programme also aimed to prepare new staff members to adapt effectively to the University of Phayao’s working environment and organisational culture. It provided opportunities for staff from different units to build professional relationships, exchange experiences and knowledge, establish collaborative networks, and develop a shared understanding of the University’s organisational values and development direction.
On 11 August 2026, Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Phongsabangpho, President of the University of Phayao, presided over the opening ceremony of the 2026 New Staff Orientation Programme and delivered a special lecture entitled “Administrative Direction and Policies of the University of Phayao.” The lecture presented the University’s administrative approach and development direction, enabling new staff members to gain a clear understanding of the University’s goals and operational priorities and to apply this understanding to their work in alignment with the organisation’s direction.
On the same occasion, Assistant Professor Dr. Thantip Kharayothin, Dean of the School of Business and Communication Arts, presented an overview of the School, covering general information, academic programmes, approaches to student development, as well as the roles and missions of the Business and Communication Arts Academic Service Centre. The presentation highlighted the School’s operational direction and its readiness to respond to changes in the educational, economic, social, and technological landscape.
A key focus of the orientation was to ensure that new staff members developed a comprehensive understanding of the organisation, from the university level to the faculty level, and were able to connect their individual roles and responsibilities with the organisation’s goals. The programme also emphasised the importance of professional development and collaborative work. In this regard, the School of Business and Communication Arts places strong emphasis on preparing its personnel to respond effectively to change under its organisational value, “BCA Future Ready,” which reflects the School’s commitment to developing people and an organisation equipped to meet future challenges.
Participation in the programme represents an important step in preparing new staff members for their roles by strengthening their understanding of the organisation, responsibilities, teamwork, and professional development. These efforts are expected to contribute to effective performance, stronger internal networks and collaboration, and sustainable growth alongside the University of Phayao and the School of Business and Communication Arts.
