Thursday, September 16, 2021, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn allowed 51 executives, staff and Cambodian students of the Royal Scholarships academic year 2018 – 2021 of University of Phayao to have an audience with royalty (Online) at Muang Phayao meeting room, University of Phayo.
Currently, University of Phayao have 27 royal scholarship students consists of 21 undergraduate students, 4 master's students and 2 high school students. They were studying in the School of Agriculture and Natural Resources, School of Information and Communication Technology, School of Nursing, School of Science, School of Engineering, College of Management and Demonstration School.
The Royal Scholarship under Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Education Project to the Kingdom of Cambodia has been ongoing since 2011 and started by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn that would like to develop a quality of education system for Cambodian youth as a royal gift to the people of the Kingdom of Cambodia, who are longtime friends. This creates a school which provides dual system of teaching as a prototype teaching system in the present. In addition, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn cares about the health of students and emphasizes that good education must be coupled with good hygiene.
