The Bachelor of Arts Program in Tourism and Hotel Management recently organized a curriculum review workshop for the revised Bachelor of Arts Program in Tourism and Hospitality Services (2027 Revision). The initiative aims to ensure that the program remains relevant and responsive to the rapidly evolving tourism and hospitality industry while preparing graduates with the competencies required in today's dynamic professional landscape.
The curriculum review was enriched by valuable insights from distinguished experts representing the tourism industry, academia, and the hospitality sector. The panel included Dr. Adisak Chaiyaratthanon, Secretary-General of the Association of Thai Travel Agents (ATTA); Assistant Professor Dr. Somyot Ongkluab, Department of Tourism, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Chiang Mai University; and Dr. Watcharapong Khunpluem, President of the Eastern Chapter of the Thai Hotels Association.
Recommendations provided during the review process will contribute significantly to the enhancement of course content, curriculum structure, and Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs). These improvements will help ensure that the revised curriculum aligns with national higher education standards while equipping graduates with the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies needed to thrive in the future of tourism and hospitality.
