On 27 June 2026 at 1:00 PM, the School of Business and Communication Arts (BCA), University of Phayao, held its Graduate Student Orientation for the Academic Year 2026 in an online format. The orientation aimed to familiarize new students with academic regulations, student support services, and university life while fostering an open and internationally oriented learning environment.
Assistant Professor Dr. Tanyatip Kharuhayothin, Dean of the School of Business and Communication Arts (BCA), delivered the welcome address and congratulated the new graduate students. In her remarks, she encouraged students to develop academic excellence, research capability, critical thinking, and intercultural communication skills, emphasizing the importance of preparing themselves to thrive in an increasingly globalized world.
The orientation also introduced key information about the School, including its vision, mission, academic programmes, teaching and learning system, student support services, and the University's digital platforms. Students were also informed about a wide range of academic, research, community engagement, student development, and international activities available throughout their studies, enabling them to make the most of the opportunities provided by the School.
This year's orientation brought together graduate students from diverse backgrounds, including Thai students enrolled in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme and Chinese students pursuing the Master of Arts in Tourism and Hotel Management. The programme was conducted in three languages—Thai, English, and Chinese—to facilitate effective communication and create an inclusive environment for all participants.
