On September 25, 2025, School of Engineering, University of Phayao, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Wasana Naku, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Quality Assurance, extended a warm welcome to the representatives from Le Creuset Manufacturing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. at the seminar room EN4406, School of Engineering Building. The visit was part of the “LCMT New Gen” (Future Leader Program), organized for fourth-year students from the Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering programs.
The primary objective of the program is to identify and nurture high-potential students, preparing them to become future leaders and managers in the engineering profession. Through a series of intensive learning and development processes, participants gain practical insights into business operations, cross-departmental functions, real-world project responsibilities, and leadership competencies. The program also emphasizes the enhancement of essential skills such as strategic thinking, decision-making, and professional leadership within an authentic organizational environment.
This initiative reflects the School of Engineering’s strong commitment to fostering academic–industrial collaboration, ensuring that students’ learning experiences align with the evolving needs of the labor market. By integrating real-world learning opportunities with academic knowledge, the school aims to develop graduates who possess both technical expertise and professional competencies—ready to thrive in the global engineering landscape.
