The School of Engineering at University of Phayao, led by Associate Professor Dr. Nattapong Damrongwiriyanupap, Dean of the School of Engineering, together with the executive team and faculty members from the Departments of Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering, formally welcomed PECI-Thai Co., Ltd.. The company specializes in electrical system construction and installation, as well as industrial instrumentation and control systems.
The visit was organized to introduce the company’s operational profile and to engage in strategic discussions on academic–industrial collaboration with the Departments of Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The primary objective was to enhance student competencies in alignment with evolving industry demands under the initiative entitled “PECI-THAI & UP Engineering: Powering Your Future in Industry” The event took place on 20 February 2026 at EN1104 Meeting Room of the School of Engineering and UB 001, 99th Anniversary Building of Phra Ubali Kunupamajarn, University of Phayao.
Notably, PECI-Thai Co., Ltd. is supported by distinguished alumni of the School of Engineering, University of Phayao, who play integral roles in advancing the organization. Among them are Mr. Sarawut Bua-im, an alumnus of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Mr. Nopparat Chananaet, an alumnus of the Department of Electrical Engineering. Both alumni participated in the session to share first-hand professional experiences from the industrial sector, offering valuable insights into workplace practices, project environments, and essential professional competencies. Their engagement provided students with practical perspectives and constructive guidance for career readiness and professional development.
