The Bachelor of Engineering Program in Industrial Engineering, School of Engineering, University of Phayao, led by Dr. Adcharawadee Keawwandee, together with faculty members and first-year students, organized the project entitled “Entrepreneurial Mindset” on 21 February 2026 at EN 4406 Seminar Room.
The project aimed to integrate core knowledge in industrial management in order to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of contemporary entrepreneurship. It sought to cultivate the competencies required of next-generation entrepreneurs, particularly in strategic business management, opportunity recognition, and sustainable value creation. On this occasion, Mr. Nirut Nammongkhun, a successful entrepreneur, was invited as a distinguished guest speaker to share his professional experiences and practical insights, thereby bridging theoretical knowledge with real-world application.
Beyond fostering entrepreneurial skills, the project systematically strengthened students’ competencies in design, development, planning, control, managerial decision-making, and holistic system evaluation. The learning activities emphasized an integrated systems perspective, encompassing all critical operational factors, including human resources, information, machinery and equipment, materials, energy, finance, and core business capabilities.
This initiative not only enhanced students’ entrepreneurial readiness but also reinforced their capacity to apply industrial engineering principles to complex organizational contexts. By synthesizing technical expertise with managerial acumen, the project contributes to the development of future engineers who are equipped to innovate, lead, and compete effectively within the evolving global economic landscape.
