Farewell and Career Orientation Project for Prospective Graduates, Academic Year 2025

Medical Technology Program Organizes 2025

The Medical Technology Program, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, University of Phayao, organized the “Farewell and Career Orientation Project for Prospective Graduates, Academic Year 2025” on Monday, 23 February 2026, at Muang Phayao Conference Hall, Information and Communication Technology Building. The initiative was designed to comprehensively prepare graduating students for a confident and professional transition into the workforce.

 

This project was conducted under the guiding principle of holistic graduate development, aiming to equip students with well-rounded readiness in professional knowledge, career preparation, and the pursuit of advanced academic pathways. Emphasis was placed on strengthening students’ understanding of employment preparation, entry into the medical technology profession, and progression toward postgraduate education.

 

The program commenced with intensive career preparation sessions focusing on employability skills and pathways to interview success. Students were guided in developing professional demeanor, effective self-presentation, and strategic communication skills. Staffs from the University of Phayao delivered a distinguished lecture on crafting impactful and internationally competitive résumés, offering practical strategies to enhance applicants’ professional profiles.

 

Further enriching the session, Staffs from the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, University of Phayao, conducted an advanced workshop on interview preparation techniques. His session addressed interview strategies, effective response frameworks, and confidence-building approaches designed to leave a lasting and professional impression on prospective employers.

 

Beyond career initiation skills, the project also expanded students’ academic horizons through postgraduate program briefings. Representatives introduced the Master of Science program from the School of Medicine, Mae Fah Luang University, alongside academic opportunities from the Laboratory of Renal Transplantation and Molecular Signaling and the Department of Physiology, Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University. These presentations provided valuable insights into specialized study pathways and advanced research opportunities, broadening students’ perspectives on continuing professional and academic development.

 

The preparatory segment concluded with a professional networking component through a Road Show organized by the Medical Technology Council of Thailand. This session provided authoritative information on professional roles and responsibilities, regulatory standards, and lawful practice requirements—essential knowledge for entering the profession with integrity and compliance.

 

In the evening, following the academic sessions, a relationship-building ceremony was held at the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences activity courtyard. Faculty members, staff, and students participated in a traditional wrist-tying blessing ceremony, symbolizing goodwill, unity, and enduring bonds. The event reinforced the profound connection between educators and students—laying a strong foundation for future professional networks—before concluding with a shared dinner.

 

The Farewell and Career Orientation Project stands as a significant mechanism in advancing the mission of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, University of Phayao. It reflects the Faculty’s steadfast commitment to producing highly competent medical technologists who are prepared to serve as vital contributors to national and international healthcare systems, while fostering a dignified and enduring sense of belonging between graduates and their alma mater.
