On 18 June 2026, the School of Business and Communication Arts (BCA), University of Phayao, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Thanyathip Kruhahayothin, Dean of the School of Business and Communication Arts, together with the executive team comprising Assistant Professor Dr. Waranya Chaitarin, Associate Dean for Strategic Management and Organizational Quality; Dr. Nittaya Boonchum, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Corporate Communication and International Mission; Dr. Piyapong Supanyo, Associate Dean for Research Innovation and Network Development; Mr. Kamolpong Rattanasanguanwong, Associate Dean for Student Development and Quality; Assistant Professor Dr. Tarika Pollok, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs and Quality Assurance; and Ms. Wongduan Sakboonruang, Acting Head of the School Office, participated in the UP Carbon Neutrality Program for Middle-Level Executives (Module 2). The program was organized by the Center for Environment and Sustainable Management, University of Phayao, and was held from 17–18 June 2026 at Kantary Hills Hotel, Chiang Mai.
On this occasion, Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongsabangpho, President of the University of Phayao, presented certificates to 52 executives who successfully completed the Carbon Management Program for Middle-Level Executives.
The training program included a study visit on organizational carbon footprint assessment at the Energy Research and Development Institute – Nakornping, Chiang Mai University; a lecture entitled “The University of Phayao’s Pathway Toward Sustainable Carbon Neutrality” delivered by Assistant Professor Suwit Panyawong, Vice President for Environment and Landscape; and a lecture on “Interdepartmental Collaboration for Organizational Carbon Footprint Assessment” presented by Dr. Prat Pingmuanglek, Acting Director of the Center for Environment and Sustainable Management.
Participation in this program reflects the School of Business and Communication Arts’ strong commitment to supporting the University of Phayao’s strategic direction toward Carbon Neutrality and sustainable development. The knowledge and practical insights gained from the training will contribute to advancing the University’s goal of achieving sustainable carbon neutrality by 2050.
