Assistant Professor Dr. Prakobsiri Pakdeepinit, a lecturer in the Bachelor of Arts Program in Tourism and Hotel Management, School of Business and Communication Arts, University of Phayao, received the Distinguished Service Medal in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the University. The award was presented in the category of heads of academic or administrative units who had served in office for more than four years by the Chairman of the University Council during the "16th Anniversary of the University of Phayao: Sixteen Inspiring Stories Towards Sustainability" celebration, held to commemorate the University's 16th founding anniversary at the King Naresuan the Great Monument Plaza, University of Phayao.
The Distinguished Service Medal is awarded to recognize, honor, and express the University's appreciation to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication, diligence, and commitment in carrying out their responsibilities, while making significant and lasting contributions to the University's development and institutional advancement.
Assistant Professor Dr. Prakobsiri Pakdeepinit previously served as Dean of the School of Business and Communication Arts for two consecutive terms, totaling eight years. His first term of office was from 23 April 2018 to 22 April 2022, followed by his second term from 23 April 2022 to 22 April 2026.
Throughout his tenure as Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Prakobsiri Pakdeepinit played a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and advancing the development of the School. Under his leadership, the School achieved significant progress in academic administration, research, academic services, and the establishment of collaborative partnerships with organizations both nationally and internationally.
