The Automotive and transportation Technology Center (ATTC) School of Engineering, University of Phayao, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Damrong Amorndechaphon, Project Leader of the project entitled “Development of a High-Competency Workforce in Railway Engineering and Technology to Support Regional Rail Transport Development in Thailand under the Thatchawit Program”, and the project “Development of a High-Competency Workforce in Railway Engineering and Technology through Frontier Research to Enhance Global Competitiveness through Collaboration among National Research Institutes and Universities under the Thatchawit Program” participated in a strategic consultation meeting on operational approaches for the Strategic Fund (SF) Research Projects for Fiscal Year 2025, organized by the Program Management Unit for Human Resources Development, Research and Innovation (PMU-B).
The meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, 2 December 2025, at Waghor Room 2, 14th Floor, Chamchuri Square Building, Bangkok, with the objective of fostering collective deliberation and shared understanding in driving the research project entitled “Development of a High-Competency Workforce in Railway Engineering and Technology through Frontier Research to Enhance Global Competitiveness through Collaboration among National Research Institutes and Universities under the Thatchawit Program” toward maximum effectiveness. The ultimate goal of this initiative is to elevate Thailand’s capabilities in railway engineering and technology to internationally recognized standards.
