University of Phayao by Dr.Chatchawal Wongchai, Vice President for Environment and Landscape participated in the UNESCO International Forum on AI and Education (online) on 7 and 8 December 2021 under the theme Ensuring AI as a Common Good to Transform Education. The Forum was co-organized by UNESCO and China with the support of the Inter-UN-Agency Working Group on Artificial Intelligence. The online Forum was deliberate on how AI governance and AI innovation networks can be enhanced to direct AI at the common good for education and for humanity. This is the first international forum in the field of AI organized by UNESCO after the adoption of the Recommendation on the Ethics of AI.
