Planning Division University of Phayao organized a workshop project on the development of the University of Phayao Development Strategy Plan 2021-2027 between 24 - 26 June 2020 at Le Meridien Chiang Rai Resort and University of Phayao Chiang Rai Campus, Muang District, Chiang Rai Province and was honored by Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, President of University of Phayao presided over the opening of the meeting by having Miss Thitiporn Maneejansuk, Acting Director of Planning Division , presented the objective of the conference project, and also have the executives University of Phayao and relevant personnel such as Chancellor, Vice Chancellor, Dean, Assistant Chancellor, Director and Personnel, Division of Planning joined in the project.
Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, President of University of Phayao and the leader of the meeting also said that the university administration needs to change the management style in a new format (New normal) to be in line with the national strategy and global society change. Which we will continue to strive to propel the university into a perfect university (Comprehensive University) bringing technology, research and innovation to produce quality graduates, develop online teaching and learning, and for the first year, University of Phayao entered the world-class university ranking from The Impact Rankings 2020, ranked 401-600 and ranked No. 11. In addition, according to the Scimago Institutions Rankings (SIR) 2020, University of Phayao is ranked 14th in Thailand, which will make University of Phayao to become international recognition or international vision.
