School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, School of Engineering, School of Information Communication and Technology together with IEEE Thailand Section are first established the international collaboration with IEEE Humanitarian Activity Committee to form the IEEE Thailand Section SIGHT (Special Interest Group in Humanitarian Technology).
The petition has been approved and effective since 14 December 2020.
IEEE Thailand Section SIGHT will be based at University of Phayao and has its mission to advance technology for humanitarian causes and will be the connection for local stakeholders and IEEE Headquarter in the USA to run humanitarian projects within Phayao province in order to increase overall quality of life according to the sustainable development goal.
