The 16^th Thai-Laos Friendship Forum

The UP team of 17 persons, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ticphan Wongchanta, VP for University Communications and Ms. Jaruwan Poshyananda, AP for Student Quality Development, successfully represented the University of Phayao and the Thai-Lanna Dance in the 16^th Thai-Laos Friendship Forum that took place at National University of Laos during December 11-13, 2019.

Participated in the Forum were administrators, faculty, staff, and students from Thai and Laos universities, 250 persons in total. The Forum witnessed the student activities (academic meetings and cultural performances) and the thought-provoking meeting of the steering committee.

All participants left the Forum with a deeper bond of friendship among Thai-Laos counterparts, longing for another fruitful gathering and festive celebration at Nakhon Phanom University, the host of the 17^th Thai-Laos Friendship Forum in 2020.
