School of Education collaborated with School of Liberal Arts and School of Political Science and Social Sciences to conduct the fetching water ceremony and bathe Phra That Chom Thong in 2024.
   On March 13, 2024, Associate Professor Dr. Ruksit Suttipong, the Dean, along with administrators, lecturers, and supporting staff, conducted the fetching water ceremony and bathing Phra That Chom Thong in 2024 through cooperation between the School of Education, the School of Liberal Arts, and the School of Political Science and Social Sciences at the Royal Reservoir, University of Phayao. The ceremony was honored by Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, President of the University of Phayao, along with the university administrators and personnel of the University of Phayao, went to pray and ask for water from the Royal Reservoir to perform a Buddhist coronation ceremony to pour on Phra That Chom Thong, Phayao Province.
   The ceremony to worship the relics of the Buddha, the ceremony to fetch water and chant Buddhist mantras to bathe Phra That Chom Thong this time, brought relics of the Lord Buddha from India and water from seven important water sources, namely the "Ping River", Chiang Mai Province, the "Wang River", Lampang Province, the "Yom River", Phrae Province, the "Nan River", Nan Province, and the "Mekong River", Chiang Rai Province. “Water from Phayao Lake”, Phayao Province, and also brings “water from Royal Reservoir”, which is the largest water reservoir in the University of Phayao and an important source of water used to nourish the lives of the University of Phayao residents to perform the bathing ceremony at Phra That Chom Thong. In the tradition of the Phra That Chom Thong blanket procession, the University of Phayao will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at the ancient site of Phra That Chom Thong, Phayao Province, for the prosperity, peace, and happiness of the University of Phayao people. It also preserves the good arts and culture of the people of Phayao.
