On May 21, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Ruksit Suttipong, the Dean of the School of Education, was assigned Assistant Professor Dr. Numfon Gunma, the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Educational Innovation, participated in the Area Skills Training for Personnel to Enhance their Potential to Work Effectively with Community’s Project by the goal to become a Group 3 university that drives sustainable spatial work that organized by the Division of Personnel, University of Phayao. On this occasion, personnel from the School of Education participated both onsite at room UB001, 99th Anniversary Building, Phra Ubali Khunupamacharn, and online via Microsoft Teams. The project aims to encourage personnel to apply spatial skills in working with communities, which is one of the important qualifications that the university requires personnel to possess at a minimum level 2. In addition, it was provided to support area operations (Work from Area) under the sustainable development framework of the Higher Education Excellence and Advanced Human Resource Development Project (Reinventing University) of the University of Phayao, fiscal year 2025. However, the School of Education, represented by Assistant Professor Numfon Gunma, the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Educational Innovation, received a scholarship to promote the creative economy in Phayao Province under the framework of sustainable development in the project: the Development of Lifelong Learning Skills to Improve the Well-being of the Elderly Using Communities as a Base Under the Driving Force of SDGs Goal 4. The project will be implemented in Champawai Subdistrict, Phayao Province, which is in line with the university’s mission of “Wisdom for Community Strength.”
