คณะศิลปศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา จัดโครงการพัฒนาคุณภาพการศึกษาและการพัฒนาท้องถิ่นโดยมีสถาบันอุดมศึกษาเป็นพี่เลี้ยง กิจกรรมที่ 3 ประจำปีงบประมาณ 2568

     เมื่อวันที่ 5-6 กันยายน 2568 คณะศิลปศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา จัดโครงการพัฒนาคุณภาพการศึกษาและการพัฒนาท้องถิ่นโดยมีสถาบันอุดมศึกษาเป็นพี่เลี้ยง ประจำปีงบประมาณ พ.ศ. 2568 “โครงการเรื่องเล่าสองภาษาจากซอฟต์พาวเวอร์พะเยา: การพัฒนาครูสู่ผู้เรียนด้านทักษะการอ่าน การเขียน และการคิดวิเคราะห์” กิจกรรมที่ 3 การพัฒนาครูสู่นักเรียน: วิธีการสอน การวัดผล และการวิจัยโดยใช้เรื่องเล่าสองภาษาจากซอฟต์พาวเวอร์พะเยาและการพัฒนาทักษะการอ่าน การเขียนและการคิดวิเคราะห์

     โดยโครงการดังกล่าวฯ มุ่งเน้นพัฒนาครูในด้านการวิจัยในชั้นเรียนและกระบวนการจัดการเรียนการสอน โดยใช้นิทานหรือเรื่องเล่าจากชุมชนที่สร้างสรรค์ขึ้นจากซอฟต์พาวเวอร์ของจังหวัดพะเยา และมุ่งหวังให้เกิดการพัฒนาทักษะการอ่านและการเขียนภาษาไทยและภาษาอังกฤษ รวมถึงการคิดวิเคราะห์ของนักเรียน โครงการดังกล่าวจัดขึ้น ในรูปแบบออนไลน์ ผ่านโปรแกรม Zoom โดยมีคณะครูกลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้ภาษาไทยและภาษาอังกฤษ จากโรงเรียนกลุ่มเป้าหมายในสังกัดของ สำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาพะเยา เขต 2 เข้าร่วมโครงการ จำนวน 5 โรงเรียน ได้แก่ 1. โรงเรียนบ้านขุนกำลัง 2. โรงเรียนบ้านพวงพยอม 3. โรงเรียนบ้านสักทุ่ง 4. โรงเรียนบ้านหลวง 5. โรงเรียนอนุบาลภูซาง (บ้านดอนตัน)

     โครงการดังกล่าวฯ ได้รับเกียรติจาก ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.คมกฤช ตาชม รองคณบดีฝ่ายวิชาการ คณะศิลปศาสตร์เป็นประธานกล่าวเปิดโครงการพร้อมสรุปประเด็นสำคัญและภาพรวมของโครงการ นอกจากนี้ ยังได้รับความอนุเคราะห์จากวิทยากร สังกัดคณะศิลปศาสตร์และหน่วยงานภายนอก จัดอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการและบรรยายให้ความรู้ ในหัวข้อดังต่อไปนี้

School of Liberal Arts Hosts Education Quality and Local Development Project

(Activity 3, Fiscal Year 2025)

     On September 5–6, 2025, the School of Liberal Arts, University of Phayao, organized Activity 3 of its annual project titled “Education Quality and Local Development with Higher Education Institutions as Mentors” for the 2025 fiscal year. The specific activity, titled “Bilingual Storytelling from Phayao’s Soft Power: Empowering Teachers to Foster Reading, Writing, and Critical Thinking Skills in Students,” focused on enhancing teachers’ instructional and assessment strategies through community-based bilingual narratives.

     This initiative aims to develop teachers' competencies in classroom-based research and instructional design by incorporating creative local stories developed using Phayao’s unique soft power as teaching tools. The project emphasized the advancement of students’ reading and writing skills in both Thai and English, as well as their critical thinking abilities.

     The training was conducted online via Zoom and welcomed teachers from Thai and English language departments across five schools under the Phayao Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The participating schools included:

1. Ban Khun Kamlang School

2. Ban Phuang Phayom School

3. Ban Sak Thung School

4. Ban Luang School

5. Phu Sang Kindergarten School (Ban Don Tan)

     The opening ceremony was presided over by Asst. Prof. Dr. Khomkrit Tachom, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, School of Liberal Arts, who also provided an overview and key highlights of the project.

     The program featured lectures and workshops led by distinguished experts from both within the School of Liberal Arts and external institutions. The sessions included:

1. "Research for Developing Reading, Writing, and Critical Thinking through Bilingual Stories" by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Prasart Nuangchalerm, Lecturer, Department of Curriculum and Instruction, Faculty of Education, Mahasarakham University

2. "Instructional Methods for Enhancing Reading, Writing, and Critical Thinking Using Bilingual Stories" presented by two guest speakers:

Ms. Mukda Wicha, Master Teacher, Ban Waen Khong School (Thai Language)

Mr. Albert Lisec, Lecturer in English, School of Liberal Arts, University of Phayao (English Language)

     This project exemplifies the university’s commitment to community engagement and education reform by leveraging local cultural assets to inspire innovation in classroom practice.
