On September 18, 2025, the Research Administration Division at the University of Phayao, led by Professor Samur Thanoi, Ph.D.Vice President for Research and Innovation, organized the Learning Space for SDGs 2025 Pitching Contest. This annual contest, now in its fifth year, was centered around the theme of "Learning Space for SDGs" with the goal of promoting and enhancing learning environments that have a tangible, positive impact on communities while also aligning with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This initiative is a flagship program of the University of Phayao.
The contest seeks to empower university staff, students, schools, and the general public to utilize learning spaces as platforms for knowledge and skill development. These skills can be applied to improve education, generate income, enhance well-being, and address community challenges, ultimately fostering a stronger, more inclusive, and sustainable society.
This year, a total of 18 learning spaces from 13 organizations participated in the contest.
