On August 21, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Ruksit Suttipong, the Dean of the School of Education, along with Assistant Professor Dr. Sunthon Khlai-Um, the Associate Dean for Administration and Student Quality Development, Assistant Professor Dr. Numfon Gunma, the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Educational Innovation, Assistant Professor Dr. Watchara Jatuporn, the Associate Dean of Research and Academic Services in Area-based, Ms. Matika Lerdpathama, the Assistant Dean, supporting staff, and the School of Education representative, conducted the activity to promote the implementation of the 6 categories under the Green Office criteria and to prepare for SE Carbon Neutrality & UI Green under the project to promote management and operations in accordance with the Green University criteria, at the School of Education Meeting Room, University of Phayao. It was honored by Dr. Prach Pingmuanglek, the Acting Director of the Center for Environment and Sustainable Management, who served as a speaker, delivering a lecture on the topic “Directions and Policies of the Agency in Developing the University of Phayao toward Sustainable Carbon Neutrality.” The purpose of this activity was to build knowledge and understanding among the staff and students of the School of Education regarding operational approaches that corresponded with the UI Green University criteria, as well as to develop the organization toward sustainable carbon neutrality. This initiative aims to position the university as a model institution in environmental management and sustainable development at the international level. It aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically: SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy, SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, SDG 13: Climate Action, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
