On 6 May 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Thanyathip Karuhayothin, Dean of the School of Business and Communication Arts, University of Phayao, together with the newly appointed executive team, met with Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongsbangpho, President of the University of Phayao, following their official appointment.

The meeting provided an opportunity for the executive team to receive guidance and policy recommendations regarding the future direction of the School. Discussions emphasized the importance of aligning the School’s operations with the University of Phayao’s philosophy, mission, and long-term development goals, particularly in advancing academic excellence, research, innovation, and community engagement.

The President also highlighted the significance of good governance, transparency, and participatory management as key principles for institutional development. In addition, the discussion underscored the University’s commitment to internationalization through global academic partnerships, curriculum enhancement, and the integration of digital technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) into organizational management and educational development.
