Dr. Piyapong Supanyo, Associate Dean for Research Innovation and Network Development at the School of Business and Communication Arts (BCA), University of Phayao, participated as a Plenary Speaker at the 6th International Hospitality Entrepreneurship and Innovation Conference (InHEIC) 2026.
He delivered a keynote session titled “Redefining Hospitality Experiences: Innovation Strategies for a Multi-Generational World” alongside Doris Schwarzl and Arlini Wibowo. The conference was hosted by Bali Tourism Polytechnic and brought together academics, researchers, hospitality professionals, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and students from across the globe to exchange perspectives on emerging trends and contemporary challenges in the international hospitality industry.
During the session, Dr. Piyapong highlighted the growing importance of integrating intelligent technologies with the human-centered essence of hospitality in order to address the evolving expectations of multi-generational travelers. He emphasized that developing a “Unified Guest View” through integrated behavioral data can enable hospitality businesses to deliver flexible and highly personalized experiences while ensuring accessibility and inclusivity through Universal Design principles.
The presentation also underscored the shift in hospitality management from a traditional service-provider model toward a platform for value co-creation, where guests actively participate in shaping meaningful experiences together across generations. According to Dr. Piyapong, this approach not only strengthens long-term competitiveness and enhances revenue performance, but also fosters sustainable social value, emotional connection, and lasting brand engagement among families and travelers in an increasingly diverse global society.
