Warach Madhyamapurush,Ph.D , Chair of the Doctor of Philosophy Program in Tourism and Hotel Management and Deputy Director of the Institute of Innovation and Technology Transfer, University of Phayao, was invited to serve as a mentor and group advisor in the Project/Program Officer Development Curriculum (PO Development Curriculum), Cohort 3. The program was organized by the University of Phayao under the support of Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI).

Participation in this program provided an opportunity to collaborate with distinguished mentors and experts from various institutions across the country. The initiative served as an important platform for the exchange of knowledge, perspectives, and experiences in research and innovation management, while also strengthening academic and professional networks within Thailand’s science, research, and innovation ecosystem.

The program was designed to enhance the capabilities of personnel within the Science, Research, and Innovation (SRI) system from organizations nationwide. It aimed to equip participants with systematic knowledge, understanding, and practical skills in research and innovation management through four experiential learning modules conducted between February and May 2026. The curriculum focused on developing participants’ competencies in effectively managing research and innovation projects to support sustainable national development across multiple dimensions.

The implementation of this program aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education through capacity building and lifelong learning opportunities; SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure through the enhancement of research and innovation management systems; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through the strengthening of collaborative networks
