On 5 October 2026, the Planning Division, University of Phayao, organized the first Knowledge Management (KM) Session under the theme “Preparation for Planning and Budget Management through the e-Budget System.” The activity aimed to strengthen knowledge and understanding among planning personnel and promote a common approach to planning and budget management across university units. The event was held at the Baworn Rattanaprasit Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Office of the President, University of Phayao.

The session was welcomed by Assistant Professor Dr. Sorawit Boonyathee, Assistant to the President, who delivered welcoming remarks to the participants. Planning personnel from various university units participated in the knowledge-sharing session and discussions on planning and budget management processes.

Key topics included setting organizational strategies, implementing projects under the Annual Action Plan for Fiscal Year 2027, entering project information, defining implementation plans, indicators and projects/activities, and reporting project and activity outcomes. Participants also learned about new functions of the e-Budget system, including submitting requests to cancel project or activity opening/closing forms and canceling budget reallocation requests.

The session also introduced the criteria for recognizing units with good practices for Fiscal Year 2026, covering strategic planning and planning and budget management through the e-Budget system. In addition, participants were introduced to the new Budget AI system, which is designed to support more efficient budget information management and analysis.

The KM session reflects the Planning Division’s commitment to promoting knowledge sharing, enhancing personnel capabilities, and continuously improving the University of Phayao’s planning and budget management processes toward greater efficiency, transparency, and alignment with the University’s development direction.
