University of Phayao (UP), represented by Associate Professor Sitthisak  Pinmongkholgul, Ph.D.Dean, School of Science, participated in The International Congress on Natural Sciences with Sisterhood Universities 2026 (ICNS2026) under the theme “Symbiosis and Longevity: Shaping the Future of Natural Sciences,” held on September 27–29, 2026, at Naresuan University. The event brought together more than 47 universities from 18 countries to exchange knowledge and perspectives in natural sciences.

The conference provided an opportunity for UP to learn about emerging directions in natural sciences and international research, while exchanging ideas with academics and researchers from different institutions. The insights gained can support the development of research, teaching, and the capabilities of UP faculty members and students.

The participation also creates opportunities to develop joint research projects, academic activities, and student and researcher exchanges with international partners. UP will use these opportunities to strengthen its research capacity, expand international academic engagement, and develop scientific knowledge and innovation that can create meaningful benefits for society and communities.
