The School of Engineering, University of Phayao, proudly congratulates Mr. Phichai Arni, a fourth-year student in the Bachelor of Engineering Programme in Civil Engineering, on being selected as a recipient of the “Quality Youths Scholarship of the Year 2026”, awarded by the Foundation for Science and Technology of Thailand (FSTT). The scholarship and certificate of recognition were presented at an official ceremony held on 19 October 2026 at Vayupak Hall, 5th Floor, Vayupak Convention Center, Centara Life Government Complex Hotel & Convention Centre, Chaeng Watthana Road, Lak Si District, Bangkok. Lecturer Rittayut Gonthong, a School member in Civil Engineering, attended the ceremony to extend his congratulations and celebrate this significant achievement.
The “Quality Youths Scholarship of the Year 2026” programme, organised by the Foundation for Science and Technology of Thailand (FSTT), aims to provide educational scholarships and recognise outstanding university students from higher education institutions nationwide. The initiative also seeks to inspire younger generations to prioritise personal and professional development, engage in community service, and apply scientific and technological knowledge to generate meaningful contributions to society. In 2026, a total of 19 outstanding students were selected for this prestigious scholarship, as officially announced by the Foundation.
This achievement represents another significant milestone for the School of Engineering, University of Phayao, which has maintained a 15-year tradition of having its students selected for the Quality Youths Scholarship.
