School of Education offered the lent candle to preserve Thai arts and culture
On July 21, 2025, led by Associate Professor Dr. Ruksit Suttipong, the Dean of the School of Education, along with Assistant Professor Dr. Sunthon Khlai-Um, the Associate Dean for Administration and Student Quality Development, Assistant Professor Dr. Natthawut Subphaso, the Assistant Dean, and the School of Education representative, offered the lent candle and other things to the monks on the occasion of Buddhist Lent at Wat Ban So and Wat Mo Kaeng Thong, Phayao, to continue the Buddhist tradition, preserve valuable Thai customs, and promote morality and ethics among the staff and students of the School of Education, corresponded with the School of Education’s Strategic Plan, Strategy 4: Promoting the preservation of arts, culture, and Thai identity to foster local pride. In addition, the activity supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
