UP Congratulates Award-Winning Students in Startup Thailand League
    


 

On July 30, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, President of the University of Phayao, along with other university executives, extended their congratulations and offered words of encouragement to students who received prestigious awards in the Startup Thailand League competition. The congratulatory session was held at the Bor Rattanaprasit Conference Room, located in the Office of the President at the University of Phayao.

Students from the University of Phayao have demonstrated exceptional entrepreneurial skills and innovation, resulting in four student teams winning awards at both the national and regional levels. This impressive accomplishment was made possible thanks to the unwavering support of the Innovation and Technology Transfer Institute: University of Phayao (UPITI). The institute plays a crucial role in providing business mentorship, prototype development, investor networking, and comprehensive entrepreneurial incubation, all of which have contributed to the success of these students.

Award-winning teams and their projects include:

1st Runner-Up (National Level)
2nd Runner-Up (Regional Level)
Team: POTENT | School of Pharmaceutical Sciences
Project:
Effervescent Tablets for Drug Addiction Prevention – a preventive health innovation designed to address drug abuse.


In addition, three other teams successfully presented their projects and business plans during the Startup Thailand League Demo Day:

Team: Dentech | School of Dentistry & School of Business Administration and Communication Arts
Project:
Dentech AI – An AI-powered application for automatic recording of Periodontal Charts, designed for dental professionals.

Team: Luxe Mirror | School of Pharmaceutical Sciences
Project:
Barrier Mirror Glass Skin – A skincare barrier film product promoting radiant and smooth skin.

Team: PANNA | School of Pharmaceutical Sciences & School of Education
Project:
PANNA Peel Wrapping Mask – A natural skincare innovation using tamarind seed extract.

This accomplishment showcases the University of
