In the afternoon of September 10, 2025, the School of Energy and Environment, led by Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Torpong Kreetachat, together with Dr. Surat Sedpho, Associate Dean for Student Development, and members of the Nature and Environmental Conservation Club, were honored to take a Silver Award and Certificate of Recognition for the “UP Zero Waste” project. The initiative is part of the Youth Network on Climate Change and Environment, organized by the Department of Climate Change and Environment, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. The award was presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, President of the University of Phayao, at the University of Phayao Executive Committee Meeting.

เมื่อช่วงบ่ายวันพุธที่ 10 กันยายน 2568 คณะพลังงานและสิ่งแวดล้อม นำโดยคณบดี รศ.ดร.ต่อพงศ์ กรีธาชาติ พร้อมด้วย รองคณบดีฝ่ายพัฒนาศักยภาพนิสิต ดร.สุรัตน์ เศษโพธิ์ และนิสิตชมรมอนุรักษ์ธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อม ได้รับเกียรติให้เข้ารับโล่รางวัลเชิดชูเกียรติและเกียรติบัตร ระดับเหรียญเงิน จากการดำเนินกิจกรรม "UP Zero Waste" เครือข่ายเด็กและเยาวชนด้านการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศและสิ่งแวดล้อม ซึ่งจัดขึ้นโดยกรมการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศและสิ่งแวดล้อม กระทรวงทรัพยากรธรรมชาติเเละสิ่งแวดล้อม จาก รศ.ดร.สุภกร พงศบางโพธิ์ อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา ในที่ประชุมคณะกรรมการบริหารมหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา
