The School of Liberal Arts Japanese Program
Hosts Post-Practicum Orientation for Graduating Seniors
On Saturday, January 31, 2026, the School of Liberal Arts Japanese Program organized a Post-Practicum Orientation at Room CE11206, Classroom Building, University of Phayao. The event was designed for fourth-year students to present the outcomes of their professional training, prepare for their transition into the workforce, and facilitate a meaningful knowledge exchange between senior and junior students.
Reflecting on the achievements of 2025, the program highlighted a strong record of professional placement: 15 students were selected for International Cooperative Education (Co-op) in Japan, 2 participated in domestic Co-op placements, and 47 completed internships within leading organizations.
The orientation served as more than just a platform for students to present work results and successes; it provided a vital opportunity for the program to receive feedback from employers and host organizations. This information will be used to further modernize the curriculum and ensure it effectively meets the demands of the global labor market.
The event was filled with a warm and collaborative atmosphere. Seniors shared their practical experiences, tips, and guidance on academic planning and internship preparation with their juniors. Furthermore, online sharing sessions regarding international Co-op experiences in Japan provided significant inspiration and built confidence for students as they prepare for their future careers in Japanese-related industries.
