On August 11, 2026, Asst. Prof. Dr. Buran Phansawan and Asst. Prof. Dr. Suchanya Thongkrua from the School of Energy and Environment (SEEN), University of Phayao, led fourth-year students from the Environmental and Energy Management Program on an educational field trip focusing on environmental conservation and restoration, air pollution control, air quality monitoring, and greenhouse gas emission reduction at the Mae Moh Power Plant in Lampang Province.
The field study provided students with valuable opportunities to gain first-hand experience in environmental management practices within an industrial setting. Participants learned about air pollution mitigation technologies, environmental monitoring systems, and strategies for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, all of which play vital roles in achieving sustainable development goals.
The group also visited the Fossil, Geological and Natural History Museum in Lampang Province, where students explored Thailand’s geological heritage, biodiversity, natural resources, and the evolution of life on Earth. The visit helped broaden their understanding of environmental issues through an interdisciplinary perspective.
This activity reflects SEEN’s commitment to enhancing students’ academic and professional competencies by integrating classroom knowledge with real-world experience. The field trip aims to prepare future environmental professionals with the knowledge, practical skills, and global awareness needed to address emerging environmental challenges and contribute to sustainable development.
เมื่อวันที่ 11 สิงหาคม 2569 ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.บุหรัน พันธุ์สวรรค์ และ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุชัญญา ทองเครือ อาจารย์ประจำคณะพลังงานและสิ่งแวดล้อม มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา ได้นำนิสิตชั้นปีที่ 4 สาขาวิชาการจัดการพลังงานและสิ่งแวดล้อม เข้าศึกษาดูงานด้านการอนุรักษ์และฟื้นฟูสิ่งแวดล้อม การบำบัดมลพิษทางอากาศ การตรวจวัดคุณภาพอากาศ ตลอดจนการติดตามและลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจก ณ โรงไฟฟ้าแม่เมาะ จังหวัดลำปาง
การศึกษาดูงานครั้งนี้เปิดโอกาสให้นิสิตได้เรียนรู้กระบวนการจัดการสิ่งแวดล้อมในสถานประกอบการจริง ตั้งแต่การควบคุมมลพิษทางอากาศ การบริหารจัดการด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม ไปจนถึงแนวทางการดำเนินงานด้านการลดก๊าซเรือนกระจก ซึ่งเป็นประเด็นสำคัญต่อการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนในปัจจุบัน
นอกจากนี้ คณะศึกษาดูงานยังได้เข้าเยี่ยมชมพิพิธภัณฑ์ซากดึกดำบรรพ์ ธรณีวิทยา และธรรมชาติวิทยา จังหวัดลำปาง เพื่อศึกษาองค์ความรู้ด้านทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ ความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพ และวิวัฒนาการทางธรณีวิทยาของประเทศไทย อันเป็นการเสริมสร้างมุมมองด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมแบบบูรณาการให้แก่นิสิต
กิจกรรมดังกล่าวเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการพัฒนาศักยภาพนิสิตให้มีความรู้และทักษะที่ทันสมัย พร้อมทั้งเชื่อมโยงองค์ความรู้จากห้องเรียนสู่การปฏิบัติงานจริง เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมสู่การเป็นบุคลากรด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมที่มีคุณภาพและสามารถตอบสนองต่อความท้าทายด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมในอนาคตได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ
