On September 3, 2026, the School of Education, University of Phayao, led by Associate Professor Dr. Ruksit Suttipong, Dean of the School of Education, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Kasidit Meephrom, Associate Dean for Research, Innovation, and Area-Based Academic Services, and support staff, welcomed General Prayut Chan-o-cha, Privy Councilor and Committee Member of the Education Fund Project, on the occasion of his visit to monitor and follow up on the implementation of schools participating in the Education Fund Project. The visit was held at the Alumni Association Clubhouse Building, Pong Ratchadaphisek School. Ms. Ora-apa Lowweera, Governor of Phayao Province, along with heads of government agencies, school administrators, teachers, and representatives from relevant organizations, also joined in welcoming the delegation. In addition to monitoring the progress of schools under the Education Fund Project, school administrators and teachers presented their implementation results and students’ achievements. Associate Professor Dr. Ruksit Suttipong, Dean of the School of Education, also reported on the University of Phayao’s efforts to support educational management based on the Three Pillars and Five Strategies of schools participating in the Education Fund Project. The visit also provided an important opportunity for school administrators and teachers to receive recommendations from the Privy Councilor and experts on improving educational quality, enhancing students’ skills and desirable characteristics, and addressing challenges affecting school development. School representatives also shared their problems, obstacles, and development needs, fostering collaborative efforts among relevant stakeholders to further enhance the quality and effectiveness of education. The School of Education remains committed to supporting educational institutions and strengthening partnerships among universities, schools, government agencies, and communities to promote equitable, high-quality, and sustainable education. The initiative is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
