Assistant Professor Dr. Wiwan Sukcharoen Kaesakaew and Dr. Nutchanat Muenchan, lecturers at the School of Business and Communication Arts, University of Phayao, participated in a consultation meeting to develop the Thailand Zero Dropout (TZD) Network under the Thailand Zero Dropout Plus Policy and the area-based education approach aimed at reducing educational inequality.

The meeting was organized by the Equitable Education Fund (EEF) in collaboration with the supporting working team from the Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University, and was held from 15–16 September 2026 at the Miracle Grand Convention Hotel, Bangkok.

The meeting aimed to establish a shared understanding of the objectives and implementation directions of the Thailand Zero Dropout Network, while identifying the expertise, knowledge, and accumulated experience of participants from diverse fields. The discussions focused on connecting the knowledge and practical experiences of stakeholders and jointly developing working approaches for the network that could contribute to tangible and meaningful change.

Participants also exchanged views and jointly developed directions for the network’s future operations. The discussions sought to strengthen the network as a key mechanism for connecting relevant partners and supporting the implementation of area-based education, ultimately contributing to reducing educational inequality and expanding educational opportunities for children and young people
