On 17 September 2026, the School of Business and Communication Arts (BCA), University of Phayao, conducted the “BCA Organization of Excellence: Self-Assessment” activity under the project for developing operational processes in accordance with the Education Criteria for Performance Excellence (EdPEx). The activity was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Tanyatip Kharuhayothin, Dean of the School of Business and Communication Arts, together with members of the Organizational Quality Management Committee, at the BCA meeting room, University of Phayao.
The activity aimed to review and summarize the School’s overall performance by applying the Education Criteria for Performance Excellence (EdPEx) as a framework for organizational self-assessment, identifying opportunities for improvement, and determining approaches to enhance key operational processes. The initiative seeks to strengthen management efficiency and promote continuous organizational quality development.
During the activity, Assistant Professor Dr. Tanyatip Kharuhayothin presented the School’s performance in driving organizational development under the “BCA Future Ready” concept, which connects the vision, mission, strategies, and operational processes with tangible outcomes. Key areas included promoting staff awareness and engagement, organizational management based on Good Governance, Data-Driven Decision Making, workforce development aligned with the organization’s direction, and fostering staff well-being, engagement, and readiness for future changes.
The presentation also highlighted key organizational results in strategic implementation, efficient resource and budget management, student development in line with the BCA identity, and listening to the Voice of Customer (VOC) from students and stakeholders. It also covered the development of data systems and digital platforms to support organizational management and strategic decision-making.
On this occasion, members of the Organizational Quality Management Committee exchanged views and provided recommendations on various areas of organizational development. Key issues included strengthening the linkage between organizational results and strategic challenges and opportunities, workforce planning in preparation for staff retirements—particularly in academic areas facing potential workforce shortages—and the development of the BCA Care Center to enhance service efficiency, access to information, and responsiveness to the needs of students, staff, and stakeholders in a faster and more effective manner.
