On 25 September 2026, School of Engineering University of Phayao, organised the Engineering Project Exhibition (Project Day) for Academic Year 2026 at EN 1–2 Activity Area. The event provided a platform for fourth-year undergraduate students from all four engineering programmes—Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Industrial Engineering—to present their engineering projects, share technical knowledge and innovative ideas, and engage in collaborative learning through hands-on experience.

Throughout the event, students had the opportunity to present their project concepts, design processes, applications of engineering theories and knowledge, as well as the outcomes of their project development. The activity was designed to strengthen both professional competencies and essential future-ready skills, including teamwork, division of responsibilities, collaborative problem-solving, creativity, innovation development, and effective presentation and communication skills.

The project competition was divided into several categories to accommodate the diversity of student projects and provide an appropriate platform for showcasing their potential. The categories included Community Change Agent, UI Green, Innovation, and General Category. Awards were presented to outstanding projects in each category to motivate students and encourage the development of creative solutions that demonstrate the practical application of engineering knowledge across a range of contexts.

The Project Day for Academic Year 2026 served not only as a platform for students to showcase their academic achievements, but also as an integral part of the School’s educational development process. The initiative enabled students to bridge classroom knowledge with real-world practice, develop collaborative working skills, strengthen systematic thinking, and create engineering solutions that respond to the needs and contexts of industry and communities.

Through the promotion of high-quality learning experiences and competency development, the School of Engineering continues to prepare students with the knowledge, practical capabilities, and professional skills required to advance confidently towards careers as competent and responsible engineers in the future.
