The Division of Buildings and Facilities of the University of Phayao, through its Gardens and Landscape Section, has been trimming trees across the university, including areas around buildings, roads, walkways, and event venues. The aim is to keep the landscape neat, attractive, and suitable for hosting events, while preparing the grounds for the Royal Graduation Ceremony for the 2025 academic year graduates and the 49th Sathit Samakkhi Sports Competition, "Kham Mok Luang Games.

The work involves trimming branches that are overgrown, extend beyond their boundaries, or may block pathways and obstruct visibility. This includes areas around directional signs, traffic signs, and lighting systems, so that they are clearly visible, hazards are reduced, and travel is safer. Cuttings are also cleared away afterward.

This operation is part of the university's ongoing landscape care and environmental management. It aims to make travel easier and safer for graduates, parents, students, staff, school pupils, competition participants, and visitors during these major events. The Gardens and Landscape Section will continue working in various areas, phase by phase, to ensure the university environment is ready for the upcoming events.
