University of Phayao Ranked in the 2027 Times Higher Education World University Rankings
The University of Phayao has been ranked in the 1,801–2,000 band among 2,297 universities worldwide in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2027. The University placed joint 17th among 24 Thai universities, excluding reporter institutions. This result reflects the University’s continued progress in strengthening its academic and research capabilities on the international stage.

- Overall Score: 20.4–24.1

The University of Phayao shares its ranking with Naresuan University, Silpakorn University, and Srinakharinwirot University.
Among this year’s results, Research Quality was the University’s strongest area. This achievement highlights the work of its faculty and researchers in producing high-quality research that earns international recognition and contributes new knowledge with value for society and the economy.
