On November 3, 2026, Associate Professor Supakorn  Pongbangpho, Ph.D.President, University of Phayao, assigned Associate Professor Phanintra  Teeranon, Ph.D.Assistant to the President, together with staff from the Research Administration Division, to attend the 3rd SDSN Thailand Public Forum 2026 under the theme “Thailand Beyond 2030: Transforming Pathways to Sustainable Development” at Thammasat University, Rangsit Campus.

At the forum, Associate Professor Dr. Phanintra Teeranon delivered a presentation titled “Building the Foundations for Sustainability through Institutional Mechanisms and Partnership Networks.” She shared the University of Phayao’s experience in advancing sustainable development and highlighted four key foundations for turning policies into action: developing graduates with area-based and future-ready skills; advancing research and academic services through the “One Faculty, One SDG” approach, supported by science and technology; applying research outcomes in collaboration with communities; and translating knowledge into public policy. She also emphasized the university’s role in connecting local, national, and international partners to drive practical and sustainable development.

The forum, organized by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network Thailand (SDSN Thailand) and the Sustainable Development Goals Research and Support Center, provided a platform for exchanging knowledge and shaping Thailand’s sustainable development direction beyond 2030. Key discussions focused on translating knowledge into action, energy justice, human capacity building, and strengthening institutional foundations.

The University of Phayao’s participation reflects its commitment to sharing academic experience, strengthening partnerships, and applying research and innovation to sustainable community and societal development, in line with Sustainable Development Goal 17 (SDG 17): Partnerships for the Goals.
