On May 9-10, 2024, the School of Energy and Environment (SEEN), University of Phayao (UP), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Torpong Kreetachat, together with professors and staff, participated in the 23rd National Environmental Conference and The 13th International Conference on Environmental Engineering, Science and Management "Environment & Low-Carbon Society for Sustainable Future" at Pullman Khon Kaen Raja Orchid Hotel, Khon Kaen Province. The conference was hosted by the Environmental Engineering Association of Thailand (EEAT) in collaboration with the Research Centre for Environmental and Hazardous Substance Management, Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University.
The conference will comprise keynote/invited speakers, oral and poster presentations and it’s scheduled to be held once a year continuously, rotating through various regions, serving as a platform for disseminating knowledge from academics, researchers, and experienced practitioners in the field. Research findings, operational practices, feedback, and various environmental proposals are presented at the conference, which will be beneficial for addressing the country's environmental issues in the future.
เมื่อวันที่ 9-10 พฤษภาคม 2567 ที่ผ่านมา คณะพลังงานและสิ่งแวดล้อม มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา นำโดย รศ.ดร.ต่อพงศ์ กรีธาชาติ พร้อมคณาจารย์และเจ้าหน้าที่ เดินทางเข้าร่วมงานประชุมวิชาการสิ่งแวดล้อมแห่งชาติ ครั้งที่ 23 และ งานประชุมวิชาการนานาชาติด้านวิศวกรรมสิ่งแวดล้อม วิทยาศาสตร์ และการจัดการ ครั้งที่ 13 “สิ่งแวดล้อมและสังคมคาร์บอนต่ำเพื่ออนาคตที่ยั่งยืน” ณ โรงแรมพูลแมน ขอนแก่น ราชา ออคิด จังหวัดขอนแก่น โดยมีสมาคมวิศวกรรมสิ่งแวดล้อมแห่งประเทศไทย (สวสท.) เป็นเจ้าภาพร่วมกับ ศูนย์วิจัยด้านการจัดการสิ่งแวดล้อมและสารอันตราย คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น
งานประชุมวิชาการสิ่งแวดล้อมแห่งชาติ มีกำหนดจัดขึ้นปีละครั้งอย่างต่อเนื่องทุกปี โดยหมุนเวียนไปตามภูมิภาคต่าง ๆ เพื่อเป็นเวทีเผยแพร่องค์ความรู้จากนักวิชาการนักวิจัย และผู้มีประสบการณ์จริงในภาคสนาม ด้วยการนำผลงานวิจัย ผลการปฏิบัติงาน ข้อคิดเห็น และข้อเสนอแนะต่าง ๆ ด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม นำเสนอในที่ประชุมวิชาการฯ อันจะยังประโยชน์ในการแก้ไขปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมของประเทศต่อไป
