During November ,29 and December 1,2024 the School of Political and Social Science, the University of Phayao and German’s Hanns Seidel Foundation Thailand together held the 10th Youth Camp on the topic ‘Political Transitions’ at Horizon Village and Resort Hotel and Taweechon Botanical Garden Chiang Mai.
Associate Professor Dr. Montra Pongnil, the dean of the School of Political and Social Science, the University of Phayao, also participated in this camp online and greeted all the participants. The aim of this camp was to educate the youths about the importance of democracy and enhance their citizenship skills. The activities were in-depth discussions of democracy buildings in different countries and experience exchanges of network buildings via group activities. There were 22 participants ,aged between 16-22 and selected nationwide.
