มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา มอบหมายให้ศูนย์สิ่งแวดล้อมและการจัดการที่ยั่งยืน จัดอบรม UP Carbon Neutrality สำหรับผู้บริหาร รุ่นที่ 1 มุ่งสู่การเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยที่มีความเป็นกลางทางคาร์บอนอย่างยั่งยืน

วันที่ 29 กรกฎาคม 2568 เวลา 09.00 น. อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุภกร พงศบางโพธิ์ มอบหมายให้ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิจัยและนวัตกรรม ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.เสมอ ถาน้อย เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดการอบรม UP Carbon Neutrality สำหรับผู้บริหาร รุ่นที่ 1 โดยมี ดร.ปรัชญ์ ปิงเมืองเหล็ก รักษาการแทนผู้อำนวยการศูนย์สิ่งแวดล้อมและการจัดการที่ยั่งยืนเป็นผู้กล่าวรายงาน ณ ห้องฉายภาพยนตร์ สถาบันนวัตกรรมการเรียนรู้ มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา โดยรับเกียรติจาก คุณธาดา วรุณโชติกุล ผู้จัดการสำนักรับรองธุรกิจคาร์บอนต่ำองค์การบริหารจัดการก๊าซเรือนกระจก (องค์การมหาชน) เป็นวิทยากรในครั้งนี้ การอบรมดังกล่าวเป็นกิจกรรมที่สนับสนุนการดำเนินงานให้เป็นไปตามแผนยุทธศาสตร์การพัฒนามหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา เพื่อให้ผู้บริหารระดับสูงของมหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา สามารถวางแผนหรือนโยบายการลดก๊าซเรือนกระจกขององค์กร เพื่อตอบสนองเป้าหมายการเข้าสู่ความเป็นกลางทางคาร์บอนของมหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา โดยการจัดกิจกรรมอบรมแบ่งออกเป็น 4 module ได้แก่

Module ที่ 1 ทิศทางและนโยบายด้านการจัดการก๊าซเรือนกระจกและภาวะโลกร้อนของประเทศไทย

Module ที่ 2 ความหมายของ Net Zero, Carbon Neutral, และ Carbon Credit การตั้งเป้าหมายลดคาร์บอนในระดับองค์กร และแนวทางการวางแผนกลยุทธ์สู่ Net Zero

Module ที่ 3 การประเมินคาร์บอนฟุตพริ้นท์ขององค์กร การประเมินและรับรองโครงการลดก๊าซเรือนกระจกภาคสมัครใจของประเทศไทย และการชดเชยคาร์บอนเพื่อมุ่งสู่ Carbon Neutrality

และ Module ที่ 4 เป็นการศึกษาดูงานแนวทางการดำเนินงานด้านความเป็นกลางทางคาร์บอน ณ สถาบันวิจัยและพัฒนาพลังงานนครพิงค์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ รวมถึงการวิเคราะห์และประยุกต์ใช้แนวทางการพัฒนามหาวิทยาลัยเพื่อพัฒนาองค์กรสู่ความเป็นกลางทางคาร์บอน ซึ่งจัด ณ จังหวัดเชียงใหม่

ทั้งนี้ มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา มุ่งมั่นที่จะบรรลุเป้าหมายความเป็นกลางทางคาร์บอนและการลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกตามยุทธศาสตร์ระดับประเทศ “การเติบโตที่เป็นมิตรกับสิ่งแวดล้อม” และได้กำหนดนโยบายในยุทธศาสตร์การพัฒนามหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา ประจำปีงบประมาณ พ.ศ. 2568 – 2572 ซึ่งมีตัวชี้วัดที่สำคัญที่จะทำให้มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยาเข้าสู่การเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยที่มีความเป็นกลางทางคาร์บอนอย่างยั่งยืนภายในปี พ.ศ. 2593 ต่อไป

University of Phayao Assigns the Center of Environment and Sustainable Management to Organize UP Carbon Neutrality Training for Executives – Cohort 1, Aiming to Become a Sustainable Carbon-Neutral University

On July 29, 2025, at 9:00 AM, Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Phongsabangpo, President of the University of Phayao, assigned Professor Dr. Samer Thanoy, Vice President for Research and Innovation, to preside over the opening ceremony of the UP Carbon Neutrality Training for Executives – Cohort 1. The event was reported by Dr. Prus Pingmuanglek, Acting Director of the Center for Environment and Sustainable Management, and held at the Screening Room, Institute for Learning Innovation, University of Phayao.

The training featured Mr. Thada Varunchotikun, Manager of the Low Carbon Business Certification Office, Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization), as the keynote speaker. This training activity supports the implementation of the University of Phayao’s strategic development plan, enabling senior executives to plan and formulate policies for organizational greenhouse gas reduction, in alignment with the university’s goal of achieving carbon neutrality.

The training program is divided into four modules:

Module 1: National policies and directions on greenhouse gas management and global warming.

Module 2: Definitions of Net Zero, Carbon Neutral, and Carbon Credit; setting carbon reduction targets at the organizational level; and strategic planning towards Net Zero.

Module 3: Organizational carbon footprint assessment; evaluation and certification of voluntary greenhouse gas reduction projects in Thailand; and carbon offsetting towards Carbon Neutrality.

Module 4: A field study on carbon neutrality practices at the Energy Research and Development Institute – Nakornping, Chiang Mai University, including analysis and application of strategies for developing the university towards carbon neutrality. This module is conducted in Chiang Mai Province.

The University of Phayao is committed to achieving carbon neutrality and reducing greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with the national strategy for “Environmentally Friendly Growth.” The university has established policies under its strategic development plan for fiscal years 2025–2029, with key performance indicators aimed at transforming the University of Phayao into a sustainably carbon-neutral institution by the year 2050.
