School of Liberal Arts Hosts The Fourth International Languages and Cultures Festival

     On Thursday, December 11, 2025, the School of Liberal Arts, University of Phayao, in collaboration with the Student Affairs Unit, program chairs, and lecturers of the undergraduate programs, organized The Fourth International Languages and Cultures Festival. The event was designed to promote learning in international languages and cultures, and to provide a platform for students to demonstrate their linguistic abilities, creativity, and collaborative skills within a multicultural context.

     The festival took place from 4:30 PM to 9:30 PM at the UB Quadrangle of the University of Phayao. The event featured an official opening ceremony, various language and cultural performances from different programs within the School of Liberal Arts such as Thai, Japanese, French as well as performances by international students. The agenda also included competitive activities, such as a singing contest for Royal Composition Songs and International Songs, and an International Costume Competition, which attracted significant interest from students and attendees.

     The successful organization of this event underscores the School of Liberal Arts’ role in fostering multilingual and multicultural learning. This initiative aligns with the goal of developing students with Global Competence enabling them to adapt and coexist successfully in the global society with a deep understanding and respect for cultural diversity.
